Uniting Against Hatred: How Many Islamic Media Outlets Are There in St. Louis, Missouri?

Usually, in the Muslim community, men and women don't hug each other unless they are relatives. However, in a crowded meeting space inside the Daar Ul-Islam mosque, some 200 heavy hearts and compassionate spirits embraced and comforted one another after the terrorist attack on Friday at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. New Zealand authorities reported that a 28-year-old white nationalist gunman killed at least 49 people while they were praying at the Al Noor and Linwood mosques.In response to this tragedy, members and friends of the Greater St. Louis community gathered to intensify their Friday prayers and reflect during a service with members of the board of directors, imams, rabbis, and other friends of the Interfaith Association.

Umar reminded the crowd that this is not the first attack on a Muslim temple and encouraged them to unite to fight against hatred and injustice.
